I am always looking for new ways to use my Young Living Essential Oils as well as being able to use my crafty side.  Some friends were making some fabulous recipes using their oils so I wanted to try some out too.  These are so easy to make once you have your supplies that even little ones can help you with them and will enjoy using them just as much!!

Rosemary Bar:

  • 4 Squares of Goat Milk Soap Melt and Pour Base
  • 2 Tablespoons Organic Rosemary
  • 8 Drops YL Rosemary EO
  • 2 Cup Glass Measuring Bowl – it makes it easier with the little spout to be able to pour into the base.
  • Square Soap Container

Melt the base in the microwave in a glass bowl in 30 second increments until fully melted.

Add in the organic Rosemary.

Let is cool just a bit and added the YL Rosemary EO.Pour it into the plastic base then sprayed with alcohol to help get rid of any bubbles.

To cool quicker you can pop into the fridge for 20 minutes or just let cool on your counter for a hour to two and then pop out of the base by squeezing the sides evenly until it releases.

This makes 1 plastic square.  You will need to play with the recipe to make other designs, shapes, larger/smaller ones.  Silicone molds also work really well for these.

Pumpkin Spice:

    • 3.5 squares of Goat Milk Soap Melt and Pour Base
    • 1 tablespoon Pumpkin Puree
    • ½ Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
    • 5 Drops YL Orange EO
    • 5 Drops YL Nutmeg EO
    • 5 Drops YL Clove EO
    • 3 Drops YL Cinnamon Bark EO
    • 2 Cup Glass Measuring Bowl – it makes it easier with the little spout to be able to pour into the base.
    • Square Soap Container

Melt the base in the microwave in a glass bowl in 30 second increments until fully melted. Add in the pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice. Let is cool just a bit and added the YLEOs (Orange, Clove, Nutmeg and Cinnamon Bark) and mix. Pour it into the plastic base then sprayed with alcohol to help get rid of any bubbles.

Note:  I just made these and plan on using them immediately so I am not worried to much about them lasting over time, but be cautious with having the organic Rosemary and Pumpkin they won’t last as long as they normally would with just the base and oils.

Sorry I completely missed out on taking pictures of the Pumpkin Spice Soap Bars as I was making them.  The options really are endless with these, add some twine or rope and these make amazing gifts.  They smell wonderful using the Young Living Essential Oils, do you have your oils yet?  If not check them out here.
